I’m a Speech & Dialect Coach based in Richmond, Virginia. I have an MFA in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University and am a Knight-Thompson Speechwork Certified Teacher.
I work with actors, multi-lingual English speakers, and business professionals to achieve their speech goals. Whether you’re learning an accent for a theatre, TV, or film production, looking to level up your English pronunciation skills, or simply wish to become a more confident public speaker, I’m the coach for you.

About the work
As a Knight-Thompson Speechwork Certified Teacher, I approach every coaching context with skill-building in mind. Looking to embody a new accent for a play, tv show, or film? Expect to get familiar with your own vocal tract in order to make practical, physical adjustments that help you stay in the accent. Want a stronger speaking voice for your next presentation at work? Get ready to boost your stage presence by learning control your breath, the musicality in your voice, & body language. Need to brush up on English pronunciation? We will start from your own language context and background to isolate specific sounds & shape them to fit your specific goals. In truth, any given session may involve a variety aspects. It all depends on you and what you want to achieve.
The way you speak is a crucial part of your identity, and my aim is to honor that in my coaching. That is why I remain focused on your speech goals and what skills you wish to improve. There is no right or wrong way to speak, only what is useful for achieving your goal.
